One Year

One year from now, I will have a completed book.
I’m focusing on the code-named “French Hotel” story. I have nearly 40,000 words down, but most of it is, of course, useless. The most important thing is that I have a theme. Agonizingly hard to come up with the theme, and I discarded many that were relevant but not the true focus.

So now I need to write, making sure nothing exists that is not relevant to the theme.

So, six months from now, I will have my final draft DONE. SIX MONTHS.

I’ll try traditional publishing routes, but if I don’t get any bites on that, I’ll do self-publishing. Either way, I’ll also plot out a marketing calendar. I actually have already created the majority of such a calendar, for another project I was working on, so I’ll just adapt it to this.

SO, six months…. that means by Halloween, I will be FINISHED with this story. Oh, yeah, I’m going to do this.
